@rjh I’ve yet to have it but seen many other wines go this route. It usually means the fruit is sourced and/or they start sourcing to increase production. As demand increases the lowest common denominator of the grapes included gets lower and lower. That said, this one has been good enough that I’ll have to try at least one bottle of the ’08

@tricerapops The ’06 was something to behold at this price. That said guessing the ’08 is plenty good. At the same time you are better off not being afflicted with the memory of vintages past for comparisons sake.

i bought a few bottles of the ’08, and i thought rather decent for the price. not having the ’06 to compare however, leaves me wondering, given rjh’s comments above….

jason, have you had the ’08 of this? unfortunately, average in my book. seems like the ’06 was the best one.
