The daunting backlog…
Well it has been awhile since my last post but I have good news for you. Just because I stopped writing does not mean I stopped drinking. The backlog is enormous. Bad news for me! I have about 15 wines waiting including some new versions of previously highly ranked wines and some interesting new candidates such as the Alderbrook Old Vine Zinfandel. Once I get though these I’ll get the best of June list posted. I’m targeting the 10th at the latest. Further, no more lengthy delays, as the queue grows it gets more and more daunting to start. Okay, now to the writing….
#1 — 2007 Trentatre Rosso
#2 — 2007 Rabbit Ridge Allure de Robles
#3 — 2008 Sauvignon Republic Stellenbosch Sauvignon Blanc
#4 — 2008 VINTJS Syrah
#5 — 2007 Now & Zen Wasabi White
#8 — 2006 Chiusa Grande Tommolo Montepulciano d Abruzzo
#9 — 2008 La Granja Tempranillo
#10 — 2007 Dr. Beckermann Piesporter Michelsberg Riesling Spatlese

Hey Jason,
Has your backlog daunted you permanantly? Inquiring minds want to know…
I’m almost back, recently had a second child and things have been quite hectic but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel…
Just recently discovered this blog, hope to see some new posts soon! Keep up the good work!
I too just recently found this blog. My friends and I have been very impressed with Jason’s recommendations. Just goes to show that wine quality does not necessarily follow price.
Alright, think I am back in a roll now…or at least trying!
