Feet on the Street…

Jason's Wine Blog Best of Trader Joe's Wine

I know I am long overdue for a posting (hope you are following the twitter feed via the home page, for quick updates) but couldn’t help squeezing in a quick thank you to my twitter friend Alan Lamb who recently posted that he left behind my Top 10 list in his local Trader Joe’s (pictured above).  Thanks Alan!  Anyone else want to participate in a grass roots marketing effort? Print the post and leave it behind in your local Trader Joe’s and let me know. If anyone found this blog via Alan’s leave behind, first off welcome, let me know via the comments here. Would love to hear your thoughts!

    Jason,
Will you be listing 2008 Thanksgiving Wine recommendations? I’m planning my TJ’s run this weekend.
    Thanks!
    Rachel

@Rachel here are my Thanksgiving Trader Joe’s Wine Picks. Enjoy!

OK, Jason, I LOVE you and your site, but why, oh, why would I post a list of your reco’s in my Trader Joe’s? It’s hard enough scoring the bottles I love there. (I’m camping out waiting for the next shipment of the Gypsy.) Let the La Jollans eat cake! I always carry my own little tiny Jason list in my purse. . .

@Sparkleball_Lady Sometimes I have that same thought to myself. But like Jack Johnson sings “It’s always more fun to share with everyone”

You are a far, far better man than I. In a previous comment, I mentioned my Trader J sommelier Finnish Woman, who has recommended three wines, all of which I hated. She is a very sweet person, but now I have to avoid her when I pull out my Jason Cheat Sheet. She also doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would take a shopper’s recommendations, so I shop quietly.
