I did see your post as well, it seems your experience with the Chard/Carmenere blend was less enjoyable than mine. as for "White" Carmenere, I don't think there is two different grapes, at least not that I am aware of but we'll have to ask Rob about that one. Great review. Your notes on Carmenere in general align with mine amazingly well. I wrote about the (oops) Carmenere -and- their Chardonnay/Carmenere blend yesterday. The Carmenere was pretty darn good and the Chardonnay label said it has *white* Caremenere blended in with it. It's interesting that they used red Carmenere in the Sauvignon Blanc- I didn't even know there was such a thing as white Carmenere going into this. Cheers! Hey Jason!
