A local store is pricing the Toad Hollow Eye of the Toad rose at $6.99 versus $9.99 at Bevmo. Consistently pleasing to me. Great as an apertif or with food. Bulk Buy recommendation.

Th also has a fizzy Italian rose Incanto for $5.99 – nothing huge and not a lo of taste but enough and very refreshing

Whole Foods has a 365 Rose for $7.99 -French possibly Anjou but it is dry and vey quaffable.

The Toad Hollow is good too – (see previous comment) – had one at the weekend while in Mammoth – also found at Bevmo (my least favorite store!)

@Jeff Think I’ve had the Marques de Caceres as well but due to sloppy record keeping can’t prove it. The Big House is one I will keep an eye out for though. Thanks for the suggestions.

The Marques de Caceres Rose is pretty good, and it’s only $7. You also might try the Big House label, which is around there, but I haven’t had it since Randal Graham sold the winery, so who knows if it’s actually good anymore. It was a couple of years ago.

@Jeff I've actually had the La Ferme Rose, looks like based on your review our assessment is about the same. Hoping to find something in the $8 range I really enjoy drinking. Funny enough, whenever I travel I always find the Rose's to be a steal. I was drinking a great one in Greece for the equivalent of $6. Now if I could only find it here...

You should try the La Ferme Julian Cotes du Ventoux. It’s from Rhone Valley Vintners, it’s widely available, and it’s only 5$ at TJ’s.
